about the artist
Neta Greenberg-Touboul is a Seattle based ceramic artist. She received her B.A. in graphic design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She worked as a graphic designer for over 15 years, but once she started experimenting with clay her passion for the medium flourished.
She has since been dedicated to the art of creating quality and unique, hand crafted, one-of-a-kind, functional pottery pieces.
She creates mostly in her home studio, continues to explore and acquire knowledge, and occasionally holds classes and workshops tailored towards kids, and adults.
artist statement
Our kitchen has always been the heart of the house.
A place where not only mouths are fed, but also our souls. As such, functional pottery has always played a central role for me, and over the years has become a true passion of mine.
I often get lost in the process of creation; I find it therapeutic and fulfilling. I love the feeling of wet clay on my hands; I enjoy throwing on the wheel just as much as hand building. I enjoy the transformation of clay through the various stages and am mesmerized every time by what happens inside the kiln!
I feel blessed to be able to do what I love so much- create functional and fun pottery which bring joy and warmth into people's homes and hearts.
All my pottery is hand made.
All pottery is food safe, unless otherwise specified.
